Apprenticeship / Internship - Learning by doing

Each year Dresser-Rand Le Havre welcomes over 50 apprentices and 65 interns of all disciplines. From A-level to Master's or Engineering Degree, every apprentice/intern has a real mission or project to manage. They are integrated in a team and learn from Dresser-Rand experienced employees.

We actively encourage knowledge transmission thanks to mentor support and "learning by doing" philosophy.

Partnership with schools

At Dresser-Rand Le Havre we consider that today students are tomorrow employees and it is our accountability to work closely with schools to promote our jobs, activities and products. We developed partnerships with local schools and defined common actions to lead.

Some employees are very active regarding partnerships and from time to time become a teacher or participate in executive boards.

Dresser-Rand Le Havre has partnered with engineering and business schools but also technical high schools and training centers whose programs match with our activity.

Management Acceleration Program

The Management Acceleration Program (MAP) is a key early career and leadership opportunity at Dresser-Rand for recent university graduates. It is designed to provide participants with multiple and diverse developmental experiences through rotational assignments. Functional rotations are complemented by technical and leadership training, as well as socialization and team building activities that include exposure to senior leadership. Through experiences in multiple business units and geographic locations, MAP participants build strong foundational skills, create networks, manage projects, and assume increasing levels of responsibility to prepare them for successful careers with Dresser-Rand. Our MAP program is open to individuals that are completing their university degree (or have completed their degree in the previous two years) in either mechanical engineering, controls engineering, electrical engineering, or finance.

Active recruitment for these opportunities is from October to April each year. We actively recruit each year on the campuses of Normandy School of Management (Le Havre), NEOMA (Rouen), HEC (Paris), INSA (Rouen), and ISEL (Le Havre). We welcome interest from qualified university, business and engineering school graduates from all universities across France.
